Daily Motivation

Maintaining daily motivation toward accomplishing your goals can be difficult.
I want to give you some easy and useful techniques to keep you motivated.

Your goals whatever they may be are important to you. Motivation can be difficult at times especially when you are trying to keep up with the demands of everyday life.

Where to Start?

» The first thing in the morning is the best time to get tuned into motivation for the day.

» Read motivational words, find an inspiring passage.

» Recite your favorite positive affirmations.

» Make a manageable list of your goals for the day.

» Visualize accomplishing each goal on that list successfully.

» Set up your day by visualizing how it will be from start to finish (always in a positive light).

Set Your Frame of Mind
Daily motivation largely depends of your frame of mind. With each positive thought and accomplishment you are building self esteem, what a great motivator. The better you feel about yourself the more you accomplish, the more you accomplish, the better you feel about yourself, which in turn keeps your motivation high to accomplish more.

I also love to start my day by reading inspirational messages from the many books and cards decks I have. They remind me of where I want my frame of mind to be and how I want to approach my day.

Set the Stage
If you love the goals you’ve set and tasks you want to accomplish you will succeed and the motivation will be there, but sometimes you just have to help it along by setting the mood. For example:

» Set up your environment in a way that keeps your motivation going. If your goal is to meditate and practice yoga, give yourself a peaceful setting, include gentle music, candles, and incense, that will certainly put you in a meditation frame of mind.

» If you want to exercise, give yourself a place to do it. Create an area in your home dedicated to your exercise program, or join a fitness club. When you begin to see improvements in your physical body your mind will follow, there’s your motivation.

» If you want to write, clear a special place in your home for that specific goal. Make your writing time special by setting aside your favorite pen and paper, or a special journal or notebook. Keep them where you have easy access and make sure they are used only for your writing purposes. Go a step further and keep them in a special carrier to take wherever you go.

I always keep my current projects and reading right next to my favorite chair in a wonderful woven straw carrier, so I can pick it up and move it to wherever it’s needed. Be creative and your daily motivation will always be there no matter what your goals. Create a setting that makes you feel comfortable and productive.

Staying Motivated
Staying motivated is not always easy but when the ball starts rolling and you are in the routine it will get easier and easier, especially when you are seeing positive results. So when those positive results, your frame of mind, and your environment come together you will be successful in keeping your motivation going for whatever task or goal you desire to accomplish.

You have powers you never dreamed of. You can do things you never thought you could do. There are no limitations in what you can do except the limitations of your own mind.
